FULLY SUPPORTED*

For those that want it all, and can make it happnen.

Paddling distances are leisurely.  Easily manageable distances mean we can spend more time in camp, playing some friendly games, sitting around the campfire, drinking beer and eating - without being exhausted.  I learned in 2012, that paddlers want a nice partial day on the river, followed by great hours back in camp.  If that sound good to you, this is your trip.

ITINERARY

- Starting Friday @ 4:00 p.m. We set-up camp at Indianhead Campground.

- After dinner and into the night  - Hang out with all the other people at the campsite.  Play games of skill.  Bullshit around the campfire.  Go to the swimming hole and rope swing on Fishing Creek.  Paddle around the two rivers and kick back and have fun!

OPTION IV - "I'm independent"
BOAT/PADDLER TRANSPORTATION ONLY
UNSUPPORTED*

You can meet our crew at the Indianhead Campground location at any of the times shown in the itinerary grid, and our crew will take you and your gear out to the current rendez-vous location or shuttle you back from the finish location. The "Transporation only" option is for people that have their own gear, and would prefer the experience of doing everything themselves.  Sometimes these people are also known as "crazy people", but we want to offer an opportunity for their ilk as well.

What "Fully Supported" means

  • RAC will supply everyone with a canoe or kayak.
  • RAC will provide all transportation for gear to start and between destinations sites.
  • RAC will provide food at each overnight destination. This include our famous "Scrapple breakfasts" and "Steak Dinners" cooked for our guests.
  • RAC will provide an exit strategy for those that might get sick or hurt along the way, thus eliminating a "Deliverance" type experience for some.

CAMPING ONLY PACKAGES

OPTIONS V & VI FROM THE CHART + MORE...

Over the years, we've added many different Camping Only packages based on the requests of our participants.  Choose the one that best fits your needs.  The prices become discounted the longer you stay, and they are steeply discounted for families.

Campers will enjoy this Indianhead Campground.  It's located near the Rupert Covered bridge, just outside of Bloomsburg (near the Fairgrounds).  It features a beautiful setting on the banks of both Fishing Creek and the Susquehanna River.  It has bathrooms, hot water showers, and a playground.

However, you won't be doing Greekfest for the campsite: you will be there for the company.

This will be a fun night of campfires, horse shoes, bean bag toss, good conversation, lots of laughs and good food, drink and music.

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS EVENT THAT GROWS WITH EACH PASSING YEAR!
