The photos of the storage trailer illustrate the room we have for renting space for paddlers to keep their boats at the Montour Preserve for increments of one month, or for a full season (for a discount of one month FREE!).

How it works:

• You select that boat storage spots you desire on the Trailer and the amount of months you need them using the instructions below

• Once you have secured your spot, agreed to the waiver, and paid, you can bring your boat to the Boat Storage Trailer at the Montour Preserve by Heron Cove off Sportsman’s Road (see map)

• BRING A CABLE AND LOCK OF YOUR CHOICE. Much like a bicycle, your boat will need to be secured to the trailer to keep it accessible only to you. Securing your equipment is 100% your responsibility, and R.A.C., MARC and the Montour Preserve more generally, take no responsibility of its safe keeping.

How to Reserve your spot:

• If you want monthly storage ($30/month):

1. Select the location you want - if it’s not shown, or won’t let you see it…that means it’s not available.

2. Select the amount of months you want to rent the spot (from one to six months, because our season is from May to October)

3. Push “Add to Cart” when you have the right amount selected.

4. If you want to rent another spot, repeat above process steps 1 to 3

5. When you have rented everything you like, look for the little shopping cart on your screen and click on that to Checkout. (kind of like how Amazon works).

6. At Checkout, you will be asked to review the order, and also sign a waiver that states that you understand that you are ONLY RENTING AN APPROVED SPOT and that RAC or MARC makes no promises or claims about the safety or condition of your equipment when you rent, and we take no responsibility for any damages done, or complete loss of property associated with your choice to take advantage of this opportunity and store your gear at this location. If this is not agreeable, you can stop this process now, as the waiver is required to check out.

7. Complete Checkout, and the spot is yours!

• If you want a seasonal storage space (ON SALE @ $150/season, May to October):

1. Select the location you want - if it’s not shown, or won’t let you see it…that means it’s not available.

2. Select the “seasonal” option from the menu for the space you want to rent (this gives you ONE MONTH FREE as our season is from May to October)

3. Push “Add to Cart”.

4. If you want to rent another spot, repeat above process steps 1 to 3

5. When you have rented everything you like, look for the little shopping cart on your screen and click on that to Checkout. (kind of like how Amazon works).

What the Storage Trailer offers:

• The Storage Trailer is connected to concrete pilings by strong cable

• The Storage Trailer is under surveillance at all times.

• The Storage Trailer offers some limited protection from sun and rain…but not a lot.

• The Storage Trailer offers THE ONLY place where you can legally store your boat at the Montour Preserve

What the Storage Trailer does not offer:

• The storage trailer DOES NOT guarantee that no one can mess around with your boat.

• The storage trailer DOES NOT guarantee that bees, bugs and maybe even birds might take up residence in your boat.

• The storage trailer DOES NOT guarantee that your boat will not be stolen.

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN A WAIVER THAT HOLDS RIVERSIDE ADVENTURE COMPANY HARMLESS OF THESE RESPONSIBILITIES SHOULD THE EQUIPMENT BE SUBJECT TO CRIME OR SOME OTHER NATURAL DISASTER SITUATION.

Considerations, exceptions and things to know before finalizing your rental:

• If your boat does not fit into a space as shown here, we might have to either change it’s location, make new arrangements or refund your money.

• Larger boats (like canoes) might require two spaces, effectively doubling the rental cost. We will do what we can to avoid this possibility, but larger boats may incur additional costs.

• Boats that are on the ground will likely get dirty during rain events.

• Spaces 3 and 8 offer the advantage of being the most protected from sun and rain, but also the disadvantage of being the smallest spaces and hardest to access once the other boats are in the racks.

• Your rental time begins when your sale has been completed.
