Last year was our biggest year to date, and we are growing!  Is this the year we break the record for the most boats on the water all at one time, all at one place?  I guess that's entirely up to you!

Itinerary:

Times:

12:00 p.m. - Registration/Check-in @ Bloomsburg launch
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Unload gear, Exhibits, interest groups, river info.
12:45 - MANDATORY - prefloat safety talk.
1:00 p.m. - on the water
4:00 - 5:00 - Off the river in Riverside, PA

ROUTE:

Float Start location

- is the Bloomsburg, PA Town park near the corner of Ft. McClure Blvd. and Market street.  Look for signs/boats/people.

Float End location

- is the Riverside Adventure Company parking lot located at 100 Avenue D & H north, Riverside, PA 17868

SHUTTLE

TWO VERSIONS AVAILABLE 

1.    A.M Shuttle - Get on the shuttle at 11:30 a.m in Riverside, PA for shuttle to the start location.

The van will leave the 100 Ave. D & H North, Riverside, PA finish location at 11:30 a.m.  This means that drivers expecting to use the shuttle will need to unload in Bloomsburg no later than 11:00 a.m. in order to drive to the finish location by 11:30 a.m.  We cannot wait any longer, so please plan accordingly and don't be late.

2.    P.M. Shuttle - Get on the shuttle at around 5:00 p.m. (variables effect this time), and get shuttled back to the start town to pick up your vehicle.  

The van will leave the Riverside Adventure Company finish location as soon as all padders have safely completed the event.  At that point, drivers can get shuttled back to the start location in Bloomsburg to pick up their vehicles.  They will very likely need to then drive back to Riverside Adventure Company to load their gear, and pick up any passengers at the finish location.

*Note* - Each shuttle has specific considerations in regard to logistics, timing, etc.  Make sure you FULLY UNDERSTAND those details before booking your shuttle.  spots are not interchangeable and are non-refundable.

PLEASE - DRIVERS ONLY IN SHUTTLE!  

This is to make the shuttle as efficient as possible. 

 The shuttle only holds 15 people for each shuttle run. If the shuttle is full, there exists the possibility that you would not have access to the shuttle service.  First come, first served.

WHY PARTICIPATE?  FAQ's

Q.   Anyone can just get in their boat and paddle any time they want.  Right? 

A.   Sure, that's correct, and that's a lot of fun.  But this paddle gives you some opportunities that you won't have any other time all year.  

Here are a few of the benefits of participation: 

 Swag:

Everyone that participates will receive the very cool sticker shown at right.  Put the sticker on your boat to show that you're a supporter of the CMN and a river enthusiast. 

Transportation:

Everyone knows that moving equipment is the worst part of paddling.  Our shuttle service will make that part easier.

Good Cause:

Registration proceeds will benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
