This backyard started as a vast open dirt field, and became this series of outdoor "rooms".

Front yard landscaping should be easy to use, inviting, and a cheerful welcome to your home.

We knew we had a lot of different areas to build, we used pavers to unify all areas and unite the design.

From the driveway, this design quickly shows visitors how to interact with the yard, while considering practical things like piling snow during snow events.

Upper patio landings, Decks, lower patios and secret hot tub areas all provide a new level of interest at each location.

Making a user friendly landscape design means making each area lovely and convenient to access.

Steps and railings are still not complete in this shot, but you can see this building phase is nearing completion.

By thoughtful planning of paving design, you can make any space more interesting.  Here we continued the "walkway" through the patio to make it far more interesting.

Pavers installed here, as if the rocks might have "grown up" through the pavers.  Just something fun to add to keep it interesting.

At the end of the paving, was build a smallish, square patio area to accommodate the owners plan for a hot tub.
