Author’s note: originally written on February 11th, 2019…but never finished. I am trying to “clean up” unfinished drafts in my queue. Posting this unfinished work, simply as a reminder of my opinions and headspace at this time. Maybe I will link this to more current opinion pieces about Trump as his second term continues.
I’m not a Trumpster
I didn’t vote for Trump. I don’t like the man. I wouldn’t do business with him. I wouldn’t want to have a beer with him. He’s a huckster and a silver-spooned showman, who acts like he hit a home run, when he was born on third base. Does that clearly state my position on the man who is Donald Trump?

So what will that look like in 2020? We now know better what we have in Trump, but what do we have on the left that is better? Are we still doing the things that pushed people away from the left in 2016? I think we are, and below is why I feel that way:
Behavior on the left is still appalling.
Anti First Amendment
After Trump, anyone on the left who is honest might want to consider the fact that we have a pretty
