Riverside Adventure Company is working with Amy Houseknecht (and friends) to create some paddling opportunities that combine exercise for your body, with exercise for your mind and soul.

Our Staff:

Amy Houseknecht - your guide

Our June 21st, SUMMER SOLSTICE “Woo-Woo Club” offering is our biggest undertaking to date! It includes many of the things you have come to know and love about these events but this one will also include a powerful Drum Circle experience by “Joe the Drummer”. We are excited, and we can’t wait to share this time and experience with everyone!

From Amy:

Celebrate a time of new beginnings, releasing outdated beliefs and energy on our pathway of greater self discovery. We will explore the natural rhythms of life with Joe , of Grateful Drumming, teaching us how to expressively create our individual rhythm through a grateful drum circle. Jessica, of Soulsentials, will lead us in an energy release and renewal. Amy will guide us in gentle yoga with candle light sound wave healing meditation prior to paddle.

Joe the Drummer

votive candles in for each participant.

This event is 3 hours! Imagine the scene:

Jess of Soulsentials

  • You are at the beautiful Montour preserve with open, friendly beautiful people.

  • We start out paddling the lake and leaving the stress of the day behind.

  • We wrap-up on the water and do some stretching, breathing and mindfulness work guided by energetic and knowledgable “guides” in the field.

  • Next up, the fire and drums.

What an enchanting way to spend a Wednesday!

Wrapping it all up with Joe. a small campfire, and Drum Circle!

Here’s the vibe of what a massive drum circle can look and feel like:

Arguably, there is no prettier spot in Montour County to spend a beautiful evening than the Montour Preserve.

The Preserve is always a great place to find gratitude.

Registration

The cost is $75.00. This is more than typical for a “woo-woo event”, but it’s our biggest so far, and maybe the biggest of the year. You don’t want to miss it!

You can use the button to register. We provide everything you need including boats, paddles, life jackets and Guides. If you have your own gear, it’s fine to bring it along if that makes you a more comfortable paddler. There is no discount for doing so, as our staff will still be helping get the gear to the launch location and doing he same amount of work as if we supply the gear.
